WHAT DOES IT TAKE?

This is not a typical entry-level position; it is a comprehensive development program designed to support long-term success. Rather than being placed on a display floor and left to navigate independently, you will be supported to learn the business from the ground up.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a driven individual with prior sales experience and a strong desire to follow a structured, fast-tracked pathway to becoming a high-performing, independent New Home Sales Consultant.

It will require a motivated individual to understand the full construction journey, from sale through to completion, allowing you to engage clients with confidence, accuracy, and operational insight. Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a genuine eagerness to learn are essential.

You must be comfortable working with systems such as HubSpot, following a structured 8 Step Sales Process, and adapting your approach across different display locations and buyer profiles. Above all, you are resilient, coachable, and ready to take ownership of your career within a supportive, high-performing team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your cadetship will follow a structured "Hub and Spoke" rotation model. Your focus and responsibilities will evolve through four key phases: 

    • Phase 1 (Internal Exposure): Based at Head Office, you will shadow Estimating, Drafting, and Internal Sales to understand the downstream impact of sales input and what constitutes a "clean" file.
    • Phase 2 (The Aura Anchor): Based at our high-volume Aura display village, you will master our CRM (HubSpot), own the inbound enquiry flow, conduct initial qualification calls, and book appointments for senior consultants.
    • Phase 3 (Site Rotations): Rotating through Kinma and other developing sites, you will adapt to different buyer demographics, run initial client meetings, and manage a partial pipeline.
    • Phase 4 (Independent Operation): Transitioning to full pipeline ownership, you will manage the end-to-end client journey from lead to contract and generate your own revenue.

REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate will need:

    • Existing sales experience (industry experience is not essential, but a proven track record in sales is required).
    • A genuine drive to build a lucrative career as a New Home Sales Consultant.
    • The ability and willingness to master our CRM (HubSpot) and strictly adhere to our 8 Step Sales Process.
    • Exceptional communication skills and the confidence to conduct qualification calls and face-to-face client meetings.
    • Flexibility and adaptability to rotate through different internal departments and display village locations.
    • Availability to work 5 days per week, inclusive of weekend work (days off will be determined and may shift during rotations).
    • A positive attitude, coachability, and a team-first mentality.
    • Australian work rights and a valid driver's licence.

AUSMAR’S head office and showroom are based in Maroochydore, with on-site parking (if you're quick!).

OFFICE HOURS

  • Monday to Thursday | 7:30am to 4.30pm
  • Friday | 7:30am to 12:30pm
