After Care
After Care Program
We understand that questions or concerns may arise even after the construction is complete. That's why our experienced team is here to assist you with any post-construction needs, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable transition into your new AUSMAR home.
To help you find the information you need quickly, we've divided this page into sections specifically tailored to:
Within the 12-Month Defect Liability Period
This period covers the first 12 calendar months from the date of practical completion of your home. We understand that this time allows your home to settle through all weather conditions, and some minor, non-structural issues may arise.
- We will contact you near the 12-month mark to schedule an onsite inspection.
- For minor, non-structural issues, we kindly request you wait until this 12-month inspection, unless the issue is significantly affecting your daily life.
- This approach helps us address all minor issues efficiently during a single visit.
What's Covered? This period covers defects in workmanship and materials.
What's Not Covered? Normal wear and tear, damage caused by the homeowner, or issues arising from lack of maintenance are not covered.
Further Information: You can find more details about the 12-month defect liability period on the Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) website https://www.qbcc.qld.gov.au/your-property/queensland-home-warranty-scheme and in your contract documents.
