A look back at our inspiring day at the 2025 Loanright Legacy Lunch, where community came together to create real change.

A Day of Impact, Connection and Community

On Friday 17 October, AUSMAR was proud to once again attend and sponsor the Loanright Legacy Lunch – a now-signature event on the Sunshine Coast calendar that celebrates purpose, connection and real change.

Now in its second year, the Legacy Lunch has quickly grown from a small idea over coffee into a movement. Its inaugural year featured Victoria Devine and set the tone for what this event represents: vision, community and momentum that builds year after year. AUSMAR has proudly supported the Lunch from the beginning, and 2025 was no exception.

A Purpose-Driven Event With Heart

Hosted against the backdrop of the Sunshine Coast’s coastline, the Legacy Lunch brings together business leaders from across the region to share a beautifully curated three-course lunch, hear inspiring stories and connect on a deeper level. It is a day centred around meaningful conversations, resilience, and the shared belief that collective impact starts with community.

This year’s keynote speaker, Lisa Messenger, brought incredible energy to the room. Her story of reinvention, courage and vision set the tone for an afternoon that was equal parts uplifting and profound.

Supporting Destiny Rescue in 2025

This year, Loanright chose to support Destiny Rescue - a Sunshine Coast-based charity dedicated to rescuing young women and children from human trafficking and exploitation. Their mission is bold and essential: to find and rescue children from sexual exploitation and help them stay free through ongoing reintegration and prevention programs.

With the help of generous guests, sponsors and the wider community, the 2025 Legacy Lunch raised nearly $30,000. These funds go directly toward rescue missions and long-term support for women and children rebuilding their lives away from poverty, abuse and slavery. This year’s goal is to fund the rescue of 10 children – a target we are proud to contribute toward.
