AUSMAR PRICING
UNDERSTANDING THE FACTORS THAT INFLUENCE PRICE
At AUSMAR, we understand that building a new home is a significant investment. That’s why we offer personalised solutions tailored to your specific needs, preferences, block of land, location, and more.
For first home buyers, we have a First Series collection of affordable, entry-level home designs with base pricing available on each floor plan page. These designs are streamlined to keep costs down, in an effort to help you qualify for government incentives. While they offer everything you need for a comfortable first home, they may have fewer upgrade options compared to our other collections.
Because of their streamlined nature, we can provide accurate base prices online for our First Series collection. However, for our Designer, Terrace, Acreage collections, or custom homes, we recommend chatting with one of our New Home Consultants to get a more precise quote based on your specific preferences and requirements.

WHAT INFLUENCES THE COST?
The price of your new AUSMAR home will depend on a variety of factors, including:
- Size and layout of your home
The larger your home, the more it will cost to build. The layout of your home can also affect the cost, as certain features, such as vaulted ceilings or open floor plans, can be more expensive. Read more. - The specifications
The finishes and materials you choose for your home will also affect the cost. Higher-quality finishes, such as granite countertops or hardwood floors, will typically be more expensive. Read more. - Any modifications
If you want to make any modifications to your home’s design, such as adding a fireplace or a home office, this will also add to the cost. Read more.
THE BLOCK OF LAND
The block of land you choose can also have a significant impact on the overall cost of building your new home.
- Size and shape
A larger block of land will typically cost more than a smaller block. The shape of the block can also affect the cost, as irregularly shaped blocks may require more grading and site preparation. Read more. - Topography
A level block of land is ideal for building, as it will require minimal grading and site preparation. A sloping block may require some more extensive earthworks, which will add to the cost. Read more. - Soil conditions
The type of soil on your block of land can also affect the cost of construction. Read more. - Location
The location of your block of land can also affect the cost of construction. If your block is located in a remote area, it may be more expensive to transport materials and equipment to the site. Read more. - Services
The availability of services, such as electricity, water, and sewer, can also affect the cost of construction. If your block of land does not have these services, you will need to have them installed, which can add to the cost. Read more.
