CHARITY PROJECT

HOUSE THE COAST BUILT 2015

In 2015, the Sunshine Coast witnessed a remarkable display of community unity as local businesses, including AUSMAR, came together for an inspiring project: The House The Coast Built. This collaborative endeavour aimed to construct a home for the community, by the community, and raise funds for Wishlist, a local health charity. The culmination of this effort saw the home auctioned off, generating over $300,000 that would go on to transform lives and improve health services on the Sunshine Coast.

A HOME THAT MADE A DIFFERENCE

The Flame Tree Ave residence, lovingly crafted through the dedication of over 60 contractors and local businesses, became a symbol of hope. The house was more than just bricks and mortar; it embodied the spirit of giving back and nurturing our community’s well-being. With an outdoor living area and an inviting in-ground swimming pool, the home captured the imagination of thousands who walked through its doors during Wishlist’s vibrant street party event.
