AUSMAR is known for our expertise in home building, but recently we stepped outside our usual wheelhouse and project managed the fit out of the new office of legal practice Thompson Legal. This wasn’t just any office; it belonged to Richard Thompson, a long-time friend of ours and a two-time Ultraman world champion.

Thompson, after trading in his cycling kit for a suit and tie, was determined to create a legal practice that reflected his “all or nothing” approach. He envisioned a spacious, modern office that would be the foundation for his long-term success.

We worked closely with Thompson to understand his vision and bring it to life. The result is a stunning 220sqm office within the Bli Bli Village precinct, complete with a team of five incredible staff members ready to take on the Sunshine Coast.

“It’s a big commitment,” said Thompson, “but no success is without teamwork, and I’ve assembled a great team.” This team includes experienced lawyer Mahoney Neuwirth, property law young gun Tayla Rawlings, and legal industry stalwart John Kruger.

The office itself is a testament to Thompson’s ambition. Michael White, director of White’s Grocers, said, “He’s done a fantastic job fitting out his office space, it looks fantastic.” The large floor plan provides ample room for growth, reflecting Thompson’s vision of serving the entire Sunshine Coast and beyond.
